Bad news Senate confirms Scott Pruitt, preeminent pimp for polluters, as EPA administrator If water becomes undrinkable and air becomes unbreathable, blame him and his enablers: Lamar Alexander (R) Steve Daines (R) Johnny Isakson (R) Pat Roberts (R) John Barrasso (R) Mike Enzi (R) Ron Johnson (R) Mike Rounds (R) Roy Blunt (R) Joni Ernst (R) John Kennedy (R) Marco Rubio (R) John Boozman (R) Deb Fischer (R) James Lankford (R) Ben Sasse (R) Richard Burr (R) Jeff Flake (R) Mike Lee Tim Scott (R) Shelley Moore-Capito (R) Cory Gardner (R) Joe Manchin (D) Richard Shelby (R) Bill Cassidy (R) Lindsey Graham (R) Mitch McConnell (R) Luther Strange Thad Cochran (R) Chuck Grassley (R) Jerry Moran (R) Dan Sullivan (R) Bob Corker (R) Orrin Hatch (R) Lisa Murkowski (R) John Thune (R) John Cornyn (R) Heidi Heitkamp (D) Rand Paul (R) Thom Tillis (R) Tom Cotton (R) Dean Heller (R) David Perdue (R) Pat Toomey Mike Crapo (R) John Hoeven (R) Rob Portman (R) Roger Wicker (R) Ted Cruz (R) Jim Inhofe (R) James Risch (R) Todd Young Continental Resources (oil company) Lucas Oil Products (oil company) Devon Energy (oil and gas company) Murray Energy (coal copmany) KochPAC (Koch Industries PAC) Oklahoma Strong Leadership (his super-PAC) Liberty 2.0 (energy industry super-PAC) Protecting America Now (anti-EPA lobbyists) © 2017 Kwiple.com
Bad news Senate Republicans and three Democrats – Joe Donnelly (IN), Heidi Heitkamp (SD)  and Joe Manchin (WV) – conspire to appoint Neil Gorsuch as Chief Injustice of the Supreme Court, deligitimizing themselves and it © 2017 Kwiple.com
Bullshitters say I've been very clear when it comes to who we are as a society, who we are as a nation. I don't believe that we should turn our society into an entitlement society. I think we should still be a compassionate, rewarding society. Joe Manchin, responding to Bernie Sanders, who accused him spewing vague generalities like opposing becoming an “entitlement society” without ever proposing specific, negotiable changes to Biden's signature $3.5 trillon infrastsructuere spending bill over 10 years © 2021 Kwiple.com
Filibusters While I continue to support these [voting rights] bills, I will not support  separate actions that worsen the underlying disease of division infecting our country. We must address the disease itself, the disease of division, to protect our democracy, and it cannot be achieved by one party alone. Kysten Sinema, bullshitting about being a proponent of voting rights while sacrificing them on the altar of the anti-democratic filibuster, which she unashamedly loves far more, as do the similarly afflicted Joe Manchin and  all Republican senators and white supremacists, who showered her with heartfelt huzzahs © 2022 Kwiple.com
Liars say THE UNITED STATES SENATE HAS ══════════════ NEVER ══════════════ BEEN ABLE TO END DEBATE WITH A SIMPLE MAJORITY Poster displayed by Joe Manchin as he announced he's siding with all Republican senators to preverve the anti-democratic requirement for 60 votes to end a filibuster, rather than preserve voting rights for millions of Americans by lowering it to 51, something that's often been done in the past, as when his was the 51st vote that put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court  © 2022 Kwiple.com
Snapshot Senator Joe Manchin made a promise to  President Biden to support a framework that  would help lower health costs, cap the price of insulin and other prescription drugs, lower child care costs for Americans, address the climate crisis, and give working people and poor people a shot in America. Today, Senator Manchin has betrayed his commitment not only to the President and  Democrats in Congress but most importantly, to the American people. He routinely touts that he is a man of his word, but he can no longer say that. Voting rights  The laws are there, and the rules are there,  and basically the government, the government will stand behind them and give them the the right to vote. We have that. The things they're talking about now are in court. Marc Elias has an awful lot of that that in court. The courts have struck down,  like in Ohio, they struck down gerrymandering. Things are happening. We act like we are going to obstruct people from voting; that is not going to happen. Joe Manchin, January 18,2022, when asked about fears of voter suppression [There is no Constitutional right to vote. Elias is a voting rights lawyer and may not win in court. Ohio's map was overturned because it had a law prohibiting gerrymandering.] © 2022 Kwiple.com
Voting rights We should all support the right to vote – everyone – but not by breaking the rules  to make new rules.
